Q. CAN I USE ON FABRIC, TERGAL OR COTTON? CAN IT RESIST THE WATER, CAN I WASH IT?

A. Thank you for your question and interest in BIC Mark-It™ Permanent Markers. BIC Mark-It™ Permanent Markers can be used on surfaces such as metal, plastic, photos, foils, coated paper, oily and damp surfaces. They are not recommended for use on fabric surfaces.

    Bought the large Bic Mark.it color collection with the rubber grip.
    I’ve now noticed that it is not recommended for fabric. But that’s really what I bought it for.
    My daughter’s baby shower is going to have Carter white onezies (sp) available to draw with special notes, etc. from the attendees. These colors seemed perfect for that.
    I’m washing one I drew on in cold water and it looks beautiful so far.
    Please tell me WHY you don’t recommend using these on fabric?
